Every OCBC fixed deposit rate
OCBC calls its fixed deposits time deposits. It publishes two sets of Singapore-dollar rates: a promotion for fresh funds, a little higher online than at a branch, and its board rates, set by term and by how much you place. Here is every rate on OCBC’s two pages, as we read them today.

OCBC’s board rate page also lists 24, 36 and 48-month rates, but says they apply only when an existing deposit of that term renews; new placements for 24 months or longer are not available, so they are left out here.
How to place an OCBC time deposit
- Log in to the OCBC app and tap More, then Accounts, then Time Deposit (SGD).
- Enter an amount from S$20,000 to S$999,999, pick the term and rate, and choose which of your OCBC savings or current accounts the money comes from. For the promotion, it must count as fresh funds under OCBC’s terms (see the questions below).
- Choose what happens when it ends, then review the placement and its terms and slide right to place.
From OCBC’s time deposit page, checked 24 Oct 2026. The promotion’s maximum is S$999,999 online and S$5,000,000 at a branch or Premier Centre (clause 2 of the promotion’s terms); for more than S$1 million, OCBC asks you to call 1800 363 3333 or visit a branch. You must be 18 or older; Singaporeans, permanent residents and foreigners with a valid pass can apply.
When your OCBC deposit ends
This is where most of the interest is won or lost. OCBC’s promotion needs at least S$20,000, and at that size OCBC’s board rates are very low: for 12 months, 0.10% above S$20,000, against 0.50% at S$20,000 or less. If a promotional deposit simply rolls over at the board rate, the next term earns a fraction of what it did.
OCBC gives you a way out. In the OCBC app you can renew at the promotion rate of the day, between 2 and 5 business days before the deposit ends; the new rate starts from the original end date. This works only if OCBC has a promotion then for your deposit’s term and your deposit meets its minimum; if the “Renew at promotion rate” option isn’t in the app, there may be no promotion at the time. Up to 2 working days before the end, you can also change what happens at the end: renew the deposit and its interest, renew the deposit and take the interest, or take both. The reminder above is set a week before the end date, so you are inside that window.
From OCBC’s time deposit help page, checked 24 Oct 2026. OCBC doesn’t say in writing what rate a deposit gets if it simply renews; see what OCBC doesn’t say.

From copies of OCBC’s fixed deposit page saved by the Internet Archive, about one a month since Nov 2022; each date links to its copy, so you can check it. Copies that show the same rates are joined into one row. A promotion that started and ended between two copies is not here. Copies before Nov 2022 use an older layout that doesn’t say which rates were promotions, so they are left out. Since 24 Oct 2026 we also save a copy whenever a rate changes.
What changed at OCBC
OCBC has not changed a rate since we started reading its page on 24 Oct 2026. Changes show here the day we see them.
What OCBC doesn’t say
We read OCBC’s time deposit page, its board rate page, its time deposit help page and the terms of its promotion. These things are not in any of them, so we can’t tell you them either:
- How much the early withdrawal fee is. OCBC says you “may earn less or no interest” if you withdraw before the end and “may also incur an early withdrawal fee”, but gives no amount or formula. The promotion’s terms say nothing about early withdrawal.
- What rate a deposit gets if it simply renews. OCBC lists the choices at the end and offers renewal at the promotion rate in the app, but doesn’t state the rate for a deposit that rolls over on its own. Its board rate page says its longest board rates are for renewals, which suggests renewals are priced at board rates; ask OCBC before you rely on it.
- When the promotion ends. The terms say the rates are “for a limited time period only” and can change “without notice” (clause 4), with no end date. A rate you have placed stays fixed for its term.
- Promotion codes. OCBC sends some customers a private promotion code, by email, app notification or relationship manager, with a rate that “may differ from time to time”. Codes can’t be shared (clauses 1.1 and 1.3 of the promotion code terms), so their rates aren’t on this page.
- When the board rates took effect. The board rate page gives no date.
Checked 24 Oct 2026. If OCBC publishes any of these, we will add it here and say so under changes to this page.

Questions people ask
What is OCBC’s fixed deposit rate today?
On 24 Oct 2026, OCBC’s highest fixed deposit rate was 1.85% for 12 months (Promotion (online), online · fresh funds · S$20,000+). Its 12-month board rate for S$50,000 is 0.10%. We read OCBC’s page twice a day.
How do I get OCBC’s promotional rate?
Place at least S$20,000 of fresh funds, online for the higher rate or at a branch. Under the promotion’s terms (checked 24 Oct 2026), fresh funds means money not transferred from an existing OCBC deposit account and not an OCBC cheque, cashier’s order or demand draft (clause 3); CPF and SRS money can’t be used (clause 3); and only personal accounts held by individuals qualify (clause 5). The current rates and minimum are in the first table above, read from OCBC’s page today.
Can I use my CPF for an OCBC time deposit?
Yes, through a separate CPF time deposit: at least S$30,000 and up to S$999,999 a placement, applied for in the OCBC app; the first S$20,000 in your Ordinary Account can’t be used, and the bank that holds your CPF Investment Account charges transaction and custodian fees (OCBC’s page, checked 24 Oct 2026). OCBC’s page doesn’t show the CPF time deposit rate, and the promotion above isn’t open to CPF money. Your Ordinary Account already earns 2.5% a year (CPF Board, 1 Oct to 31 Dec 2026), so a CPF time deposit only adds anything if it pays more than that after fees. A CPF time deposit can’t be withdrawn before it ends (OCBC’s help page).
What happens if I withdraw an OCBC time deposit early?
You can, in the OCBC app, up to 2 business days before it ends (not on the end date itself). OCBC says you may earn less or no interest, depending on how much of the term is left, and may pay an early withdrawal fee, but doesn’t say how much (OCBC’s help page, checked 24 Oct 2026). Keep money you may need back in a savings account or a shorter term.
Is OCBC’s rate the same for every amount?
No. OCBC’s board rates come in six amount bands, from S$5,000 to S$999,999, and the smallest band pays the most: for 12 months, 0.50% up to S$20,000 and 0.10% above it. The promotion has one rate for every amount from S$20,000 up to its maximum. When neighbouring bands pay the same at every term, the table above joins them into one column.
Is OCBC interest taxed?
No. Interest individuals earn on deposits with approved banks in Singapore is not taxed and doesn’t need to be declared (IRAS).
How we get these numbers
Twice a day, at 9:35 am and 3:35 pm, a script on our own server opens each bank’s and finance company’s fixed deposit page, the same page you would see, and reads every rate, term, amount band and condition on it. 15 of 17 pages read cleanly on the last run.
A read is held instead of published if anything looks off: the page’s layout changed, a rate moved more than 0.5 points at once, a deal vanished, or the page did not load. The last good rates then stay up, marked “being checked”, until we have looked at the bank’s page ourselves. A bank still held after 14 days moves to “check by hand”.
RHB and Sing Investments & Finance block automatic reads, so we link to their pages instead of guessing.
Maybank’s promotion page also refuses automatic reads, so its Deposits Bundle and time deposit promotion are checked by hand every week and marked “checked by hand”; they stop showing after 14 days without a check. Its iSAVvy and board rates are read automatically.
We rank by the rate the bank publishes (or its own stated effective rate, where a bonus is paid at the end or part of the money must sit in a savings account), and show the conditions next to every rate. No bank pays to be listed, and the order is never changed by hand.
- OCBC’s rates come from its time deposit page (the promotion) and its SGD board rate page, read twice a day with the other banks on our fixed deposit rates page.
- Past rates come from copies of OCBC’s page saved by the Internet Archive, each linked in the table above; whenever a rate changes, we ask the Internet Archive to save a fresh copy.
- This page shows numbers, not advice on where to put your money. See our disclaimer, how we get our numbers and corrections.
