Put every round in your calendar

Subscribe once and every round shows up in your calendar, from 12 noon when it opens to 4 pm when it closes. The calendar updates itself: when LTA publishes the next year’s dates they appear on their own, and each past round gains its Cat A and Cat B result.

This month, step by step

What happens in November 2026, in order:

  1. Already set LTA’s quota for Nov 2026 to Jan 2027: 19,298 COEs in all, about 1,189 Cat A and 951 Cat B a round. By category
  2. Mon 2 Nov to Wed 4 Nov Round 1: opens 12 noon Monday, closes 4 pm Wednesday. The results go up on COE results once LTA publishes them.
  3. Mon 16 Nov to Wed 18 Nov Round 2: opens 12 noon Monday, closes 4 pm Wednesday. The results go up on COE results once LTA publishes them.
  4. After round 2 The PQP for renewing a COE in December is set: the average of the last six rounds’ premiums, rounded up to the dollar. This month’s PQP

Why some rounds move

We went through LTA’s schedules for 2024 to 2026: 72 rounds. All of them opened at 12 noon and closed at 4 pm. 66 opened on a Monday and closed on the Wednesday; the other 6 moved because of a public holiday:

  • Jan 2024 (1) Tue 2 Jan to Thu 4 Jan. Monday 1 January is New Year’s Day.
  • May 2024 (2) Mon 20 May to Thu 23 May. Wednesday 22 May is Vesak Day.
  • Jun 2024 (2) Tue 18 Jun to Thu 20 Jun. Monday 17 June is Hari Raya Haji.
  • Oct 2025 (2) Tue 21 Oct to Thu 23 Oct. Monday 20 October is Deepavali.
  • Feb 2026 (2) Mon 16 Feb to Fri 20 Feb. 17 and 18 February are Chinese New Year holidays.
  • Jun 2026 (1) Tue 2 Jun to Thu 4 Jun. Monday 1 June is a public holiday in lieu of Vesak Day, which falls on Sunday 31 May.

Why some rounds are three weeks apart

Rounds are usually two weeks apart, but 13 first rounds of the month came three weeks after the round before: Feb 2024 (1), May 2024 (1), Aug 2024 (1), Oct 2024 (1), Jan 2025 (1), Apr 2025 (1), Jul 2025 (1), Oct 2025 (1), Jan 2026 (1), Apr 2026 (1), Jul 2026 (1), Sep 2026 (1), Dec 2026 (1). Every one of them followed a month with five Mondays (13 of 13). Round 1 opens on the first Monday of the month and round 2 two weeks later, so after a five-Monday month there is an extra week before the next round 1. The next one on LTA’s schedule is the first round of December 2026, opening Monday 7 December.

The counts and the five-Monday rule are ours, worked out from LTA’s published dates. LTA marks the three-week gaps in its schedules from 2025; the 2024 ones are in its dates but not marked. The first round of 2024 is left out of the gap count: its round before is in LTA’s 2023 schedule, which we don’t hold.

Next year’s dates

LTA hasn’t published its 2027 dates yet. We look for them every day; last checked 11:41 am, 30 Oct 2026 SGT. When it does, they go into the table and the calendar feed the same day, and anyone subscribed gets them without doing anything.

We don’t put up our own guess at the 2027 dates: a wrong date is worse than none. Rounds usually open on the first and third Monday, but holidays and the gaps above move them.

How soon the results come

From the round that closes on Wednesday 4 November, we record here the minute LTA’s results reached us after each round, so you can see how long it usually takes.

Questions people ask

When is the next COE bidding?

The next COE bidding round, the first round of November 2026, opens at 12 noon on Monday 2 November 2026 and closes at 4 pm on Wednesday 4 November. The rest of 2026: 16–18 Nov, 7–9 Dec, 21–23 Dec. Each round opens at 12 noon and closes at 4 pm, usually Monday to Wednesday in the first and third weeks of the month.

What time does COE bidding open and close?

Every round opens at 12 noon and closes at 4 pm, Singapore time. A round usually runs from Monday to Wednesday; when a public holiday falls on one of those days, LTA starts a day later or closes a day or two later. This year’s rounds are in the table above, with LTA’s note on each moved one.

How often is COE bidding?

Twice a month: 24 rounds a year, usually in the first and third weeks. In 2024, 2025 and 2026 there were 24 rounds each year.

Why are some rounds three weeks apart?

Round 1 opens on the first Monday of the month and round 2 two weeks later. When a month has five Mondays, the next month’s first round is three weeks after the round before. Every three-week gap from 2024 to 2026 followed a five-Monday month. The full list is above.

When are the COE results out?

After bidding closes at 4 pm, once LTA publishes them. COE results updates within 10 minutes of them reaching LTA’s data on data.gov.sg, and from the round that closes on 4 November 2026 we record how soon that was.

When is the PQP published?

After each month’s second round. The PQP, the price of renewing a COE, is the average of the last six rounds’ premiums rounded up to the dollar, and it applies to renewals the month after. This month’s PQP is on COE results.

How we get these dates

  • The dates and the notes are LTA’s, typed in by us from its schedule of COE open bidding exercises for each year (2024, 2025 and 2026 on file; checked 30 Oct 2026). The counts and the five-Monday rule are ours, from those dates.
  • Each round’s result comes from LTA’s data on data.gov.sg, read by the same job as COE results: every 10 minutes from 4 pm on closing days, and once a day otherwise. That job also checks every day whether LTA has published the next year’s schedule.
  • The status line and the countdown use Singapore time whatever time zone you are in, and work out the state again in your browser, so they stay right even if this page was loaded earlier.
  • Numbers.sg is not connected to LTA, any car dealer or any bank, no one pays us, and this page has no affiliate links. See our disclaimer, how we get our numbers and corrections.
