About Numbers.sg

Numbers.sg puts Singapore’s money numbers in one place: interest rates, CPF, tax, COE, petrol, gold and what things cost. Each comes from the agency or bank that publishes it, with the time we checked it and a link back to the source.

Why it exists

The numbers that shape everyday money decisions in Singapore are spread across MAS, CPF Board, IRAS, LTA, SingStat and a dozen bank websites, each with its own layout and schedule. The sites that gather them together often mix the numbers with sales pitches, and rarely say where a figure came from or when it was last true.

Numbers.sg does one thing: shows the number, says where it came from and when, keeps its history, and gives you a calculator that uses it. How that works is on How we get our numbers.

Who runs it

Numbers.sg is an independent site based in Singapore, edited by Jeremiah Say, a software developer and data analyst. He writes the scripts that collect the numbers, builds the calculators and checks the pages. Questions and corrections go to him through Contact.

How the site pays for itself

• The site will carry display ads. Ads are labelled, and never placed above the number you came for.
• Comparison pages for products such as cards and loans may one day include referral links that pay us if you sign up. If they do, each link will be labelled, and the order of every table will still be set by the numbers, not by who pays.

No bank, agency or product pays for a number, a ranking or a place on a page.

What we don’t do

• We don’t give financial advice or tell you what to buy. Numbers.sg is general information; see the Disclaimer.
• We don’t sell sponsored rankings or “featured” spots.
• We don’t publish stock tips or betting odds.
• We don’t guess. If a source is late, the page says so.

Numbers.sg is not part of, endorsed by or paid by the Singapore Government or any of its agencies. Where you need to act (file your taxes, check your own CPF balance, bid for a COE) we link you to the official site.
